Just worried that SD2 might go a step back rather than staying where it is in terms of modding Never mind taking a step forward.Īs long as it at least stays where it is when it comes to modding I'll be a happy boi! Tried to have an artillery model ported into the game, but it didn't work right cause I didn't know the higherarchy of the artillery, or how to animate it either.īut tanks or cars worked fine and it was a great addon! Adding a giant infantryman Godzillas is possible in SD Was hoping they would re-add modding tools mostly to import models cause I was already preemptively trying to make an SD2 mod, that was actually my main motivation for getting SD2. But you could import models into SD1! But at least from what I only know that vehicle models could get imported. Not, say, 3d modding, and animations, or godzillas. Extracting the files seperately is not the way to go.Ģ.

I dont know what you did, but im pretty sure you messed up at some point. good to know, but as it turns out I just needed to extract all the files seperatly and then run the installer(not combining the assets/images files like I did before) and then I start up xenonauts and it says x-division. If its the same, you downloaded the correct file and it diddnt get corrupted by connection issues/server problems/aliens :D. You download it and generate your own md5 sum on your end and compare it to the official one. So somebody loads something up the internet, generates the md5 sum for it, and puts the file + md5 sum up.
